Prayer and Praise

NORTHLAND

  • Teacher training seminars are planned for Kaikohe in Northland, March and 4th & 5th April.  Please pray for the preparation for these courses.
  • Northland CEF’s Information and Prayer Barbecue is on Sunday 27th March.
  • Please pray for this event.
  • Pray for Roland and Ruth Stark as they lead a children’s programme at the Coopers Beach Easter Conference, 16-21 April.

AUCKLAND AND NATIONAL

  • Praise God for our new Office Manager, Annabelle Avery. Annabelle is at present working 24 hours a week but we are trusting God that we can extend her hours to full time. Please pray that God will raise up committed regular financial supporters for Annabelle so that we can pay her to work 40 hours a week. She will be doing the finance management as part of her Office Manager’s job.
  • Praise God for a new Good News Club® at Birkdale, North Shore, Auckland. There are now 2 Good News Clubs running on the North Shore, Birkdale (Wednesdays) and Takapuna (Fridays). Please pray for these Clubs and pray that God will send more children. Praise God that 3 children were counselled for salvation at the Takapuna Club.
  • Please continue to pray that God will provide a new venue to rehouse the Christian organisations (including CEF) presently in the Evangelism & Discipling Centre. Our building is condemned and due for demolition but the deadline for our moving out has been extended.
  • Please pray for Pam Brooking, our National Director, in her many responsibilities. She will be travelling a lot these few months and needs God’s protection and strength.
  • Praise God for many recent training courses in Auckland and Wellington with people from several different countries trained.
  • Pray for training days in Napier on 19th and 26th March.
  • Pray for an Instructors of Teachers course to be held in Auckland from 16-27 April.
  • Please pray for the CEF Children’s Camp at Waipara (Canterbury) from 16-21 April. Pray for the leaders, speaker, camp workers and pray that God will speak to each child who comes to this camp.

KOREAN MINISTRY

  • Pray for the Korean weekly seminars which started on the 24th February and the Good News Clubs which began after this. This term, two new English Good News Clubs are being held in West Harbour and Te Atatu North on Friday and Saturday. Pray for the teachers and the children of the clubs, who might have a language barrier, to be able to teach and understand the truth clearly.
  • Please pray that God will raise more GNC teachers and hosts to bring the next generation to Jesus Christ. The goal for this term is to run at least 10 Good News Clubs including the previous ones.
  • Pray for the Super Seminars training 29-31 March. 
  • Pray for the Kim family, that the Lord will provide their needs in every area as they serve God and the people in 2011.
